The I-270 Technology Corridor

I am kind of obsessed with a pair of signs where the Beltway and 270 connect. They both read "The I-270 Technology Corridor", but one has a shield and the other one, this one, doesn't. I want to attempt to get a closer and more high definition picture of them, but so far that hasn't happened. There is very little information about these signs on the internet.
